The initial trial store layout resulted in a lack of shopper flow through to the rear of the store; 10% of visitor footfall reached the rear
Revised store layout based on trial store feedback, twin main walkways to back of store
The revised layout, involving a twin walkway to the back of the store and re-arranging department adjacencies, dramatically increased footfall through to the rear of the store, up from 10% to 35% of visitor footfall.
